Our Journey
We began with the belief that swimming should be accessible to everyone, including children and adults with SEND. What started with Sunday sessions has now grown into a supportive community offering both Sunday and Saturday lessons. We are proud to be helping more and more swimmers build confidence, develop essential skills, and enjoy the water for life.
Our Mission
Our mission is to make swimming accessible, safe, and positive for everyone, with a dedicated focus on supporting children and adults with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Through gentle teaching, calm environments, and individualised support, we aim to build confidence, independence, and essential life skills in the water. We are committed to creating an inclusive swimming community where progress is celebrated, difference is respected, and every swimmer is supported to develop a lifelong, confident relationship with the water.
Our Impact
Safer swimming through understanding
Our teachers are trained to recognise, understand, and adapt to each swimmer’s individual needs and aim to create a safer learning environment.
Supporting physical and emotional wellbeing
Swimming supports strength, coordination, and motor skill development, while our calm, inclusive approach also nurtures confidence, emotional regulation, and a sense of belonging.
Inclusive access for every swimmer
We believe no child or adult should be excluded from learning to swim. Our mission is to ensure individuals with SEND can access swimming safely, enjoy the water, and experience the lifelong physical and emotional benefits that swimming can offer.
With research showing that children with autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions face a significantly higher risk of drowning, we are committed to teaching swimming through care, understanding, and inclusion.
Our Approach
We begin by building trust and understanding each swimmer. By filling out your intake form, you will helps us learn about you or your child’s needs and preferences, allowing lessons to be supportive and well-planned from the very start.
